Panari Big Corner - Ishigaki & Yaeyama

Panari Big Corner, off Ishigaki, is a gentle introduction to the Yaeyama islands' underwater scene. The site sits around 15 metres, making it comfortable for newer divers or those looking for a relaxed multi-dive day. We often find ourselves drifting along the gentle slope, spotting a surprising number of juvenile reef fish tucked into the coral bommies. It’s not about big pelagics here, but rather the quiet satisfaction of watching clownfish tend their anemones or finding a cleverly camouflaged scorpionfish. We’d suggest it as a good second or third dive, especially if the weather is a bit breezy elsewhere.
