Peaceful - Izu Peninsula

The team at Peaceful are the kind of people you want looking after you underwater. We’ve always found them incredibly patient, which is a huge plus when you’re navigating some of Izu’s more interesting entry points or just taking your time with a macro subject. They specialise in small group experiences, meaning you get proper attention, whether you’re doing your Open Water or just going for a fun dive. Sure, the visibility can be a bit variable depending on the season, but when it’s good, it’s *really* good. We’ve had dives there where the schools of juvenile rockfish were so thick it felt like swimming through a silver cloud. And don’t even get us started on the nudibranchs – Izu is a critter hunter's dream, and the Peaceful guides have an uncanny knack for spotting the most obscure ones.
