Cozy Dive - Jeju Island

The team at Cozy Dive on Jeju Island are some of the friendliest operators we’ve met in South Korea. They really dial into the personal side of diving. We've always felt super comfortable with them, whether we’re heading out for a fun dive or getting some refresher training. Their specialty is definitely PADI courses, and they're a 5 Star IDC centre, which means top-notch instruction if you’re looking to go pro or just upskill from Open Water. We particularly love diving with them around 문섬 (Munseom, or "Mosquito Island"). On a good day, the visibility around there can stretch to 20 metres, and the light filtering through the kelp forests is just incredible. Keep an eye out for nudibranchs and small crabs tucked into the rocky crevices – the macro life is surprisingly vibrant. We’d suggest going in the late morning, after the initial boat traffic has died down, for a more relaxed experience. The water can be chilly, especially outside of summer, so proper exposure protection is a must, but the unique volcanic topography and rich temperate water ecosystems are well worth it. You’ll usually spot some schooling fish too, like the occasional jack.
