Divecenter Santiago & King Bay - Santiago

McCreight Rock, up in Alaska, offers a chilly but rewarding dive for those keen on the temperate waters. You're mostly exploring a rocky reef here, which means plenty of crevices and ledges for critters to hide in. We've seen good numbers of Shiner Perch darting about, and the occasional Red Rock Crab scuttling sideways. If you time it right, during salmon runs, you might even catch a glimpse of red or coho salmon pushing past. It’s a solid dive for folks who appreciate the hardy beauty of cold-water marine life, a bit different from your typical tropical scene.
