Furna de Rosa - Santo Antão
Furna de Rosa on Santo Antão is a solid pick for divers getting comfortable with overhead environments. It's not a deep dive, topping out at 16 meters, making it quite accessible for newer divers or those simply wanting a relaxed exploration. Inside the cave, you'll find schools of curious sweepers darting in and out of the shadows, and often a few sleepy nurse sharks tucked into crevices. The ambient light filtering through the entrance gives it a gentle, inviting glow. We’d suggest this spot for a calm afternoon dive, maybe as a warm-up before tackling some of the island's more exposed reef systems.
