Hanging Garden, Kap Verde - Santo Antão
The Hanging Garden on Santo Antão lives up to its name, a wall dive that feels like plunging into an inverted jungle. Dropping to 26 meters, it’s an expert-level site, mostly due to the currents that can really pick up here, but that's often what makes it so lively. We’ve drifted along, eyes peeled for the larger pelagics that cruise by, like amberjacks and the occasional tuna. The wall itself is covered in soft corals and sponges, hence the "garden" feel, with plenty of nooks and crannies to explore for blennies and nudibranchs if you can hold your position. It's a great spot for those who appreciate a dynamic drift and want to see some serious fish action.
