I-95 - Andaman Islands

The I-95 wreck is a fairly recent addition to the Andaman dive scene, a fishing vessel that sank upright and makes for a really pleasant, easy dive. Sitting at just 17 meters, it’s ideal for newer divers looking to get their first taste of wreck exploration without any tricky currents or deep profiles. The superstructure is still largely intact, offering easy swim-throughs where you’ll often find schools of snappers schooling inside the wheelhouse. The mast reaches almost to the surface, completely encrusted with soft corals, and we’ve spotted plenty of lionfish tucked away in the shadows, along with the occasional moray eel peeking out from under the hull. It’s a comfortable, relaxed dive, perfect for photographers wanting to practice their wreck shots.
