With 176+ marine species recorded in the area - including dugongs, sperm whales, spinner dolphins, nautiluses and pufferfish - Juvies offers some of Andaman Islands's richest diving. Water ranges 28-31°C, warmest April, May, June.
Juvies is exactly what it sounds like, a nursery. The shallow depth, just 13 metres, makes it an easy dive for newer divers getting comfortable with their buoyancy. Look closely in the sand patches and among the small coral bommies for juvenile reef fish, small rays, and often a few pipefish. It’s a good spot to practice your macro photography or just chill out.
