Kisite Marine Park - Diani Beach & South Coast
Kisite Marine Park is one of those places that genuinely delivers. We love drifting through the park, especially on a sunny morning, when the light penetrates the shallows and illuminates the soft corals. It's a gentle dive, topping out at 20 metres, perfect for newer divers or anyone looking for a relaxed exploration. Keep an eye out for the resident pod of dolphins; we’ve often seen them playing just outside the park boundaries. What really sets Kisite apart, though, are the small details. You can spend an entire dive just in a small section, spotting an African eel blenny poking its head from the sand or a Ghost pipefish swaying gently in the current. The reef has a lovely structure, not too dramatic, but with plenty of nooks for Leopard Hinds and Estuary Cod. We’d suggest going early in the morning for the calmest conditions and the best chance of spotting a Bumphead Parrotfish grazing in the distance. It's a place that rewards patience and a keen eye.
