Nosy Mitsio - Pain de Sucre (Sugar Loaf) - Nosy Mitsio

Pain de Sucre, or Sugar Loaf, is a solid pinnacle dive off Nosy Mitsio. The reef starts around 10 meters and drops away to 35, with plenty to explore in between. Expect strong currents here, which are really what draw in the bigger schools of fish – we've seen everything from fusiliers to trevally hunting in the blue. The hard coral coverage is excellent, a real patchwork of different species clinging to the rock face. It’s a site for competent divers who appreciate a bit of current and the pelagic action it brings.
