Nosy Mitsio - The Arc (L'Arc) - Nosy Mitsio

The Arc, or L'Arc as the locals call it, is one of those sites you visit for the topography. It’s an archway, naturally carved, sitting around 12 meters down. We’ve seen it busy with schooling snapper sheltering underneath, and sometimes a few larger pelagics cruise by in the blue. The corals around the base are healthy, a mix of hard and soft, supporting plenty of smaller reef fish. It’s a gentle dive, generally, and perfect for photographers looking for a dramatic frame. If you're staying in the Mitsio archipelago, it’s a solid addition to the logbook.
