Dheraha Thila is a pinnacle dive where divers can encounter blue sharks, sea turtles and spinner dolphins. Water ranges 29-31°C, warmest March, April, May.
Dheraha Thila sits as a standalone pinnacle in Baa Atoll, dropping down to a maximum of 28 metres. We’ve found this an enjoyable intermediate dive, particularly when the currents pick up a little, bringing in the bigger pelagics. You’ll often spot grey reef sharks patrolling the edges and eagle rays gliding overhead. It’s a classic Maldivian thila, perfect for those who appreciate open water action without feeling overwhelmed by a massive reef system.
