Dhonakulhi Kandu - Baa Atoll

Dhonakulhi Kandu gives you a proper taste of a Maldivian channel drift without being intimidating. We’ve found the currents here generally gentle, easing you along the reef edge at a comfortable pace. It’s a good spot to just relax and let the water carry you, keeping an eye out for the usual suspects – reef sharks often cruise by, and we’ve seen eagle rays glide past on more than one occasion. At a maximum depth of 20 metres, it’s a perfect introduction to channel diving for newer divers, or a nice chilled-out float for those who just want to unwind.
