Fares Thila / Canyons - Baa Atoll

Fares Thila, often called Canyons, offers a solid intermediate dive in Baa Atoll. We’ve found it’s best when a moderate current sweeps through, bringing in schools of fusiliers and snapper that congregate around the pinnacle’s edge. Keep an eye out for grey reef sharks patrolling the deeper sections and the occasional eagle ray gliding past in the blue. It’s a good spot for those who appreciate a relaxed drift and want to see some classic Maldivian pelagics without too much fuss.
