Hurasfaru Thila - Baa Atoll

Hurasfaru Thila is one of those Baa Atoll pinnacles that really delivers when the current is right. The main thila itself isn't huge, but its ledges and overhangs are home to plenty of schooling fusiliers, parrotfish, and even the occasional grey reef shark patrolling the deeper sections. We've found the sweet spot here is often around 15-20 meters, just as the current starts to pick up, bringing the action in. It’s a good intermediate dive, needing a bit of experience with drift, but the reward is a classic Maldivian reef scene.
