Maafaru Thila - Baa Atoll

Maafaru Thila is a solid little pinnacle dive in Baa Atoll, a nice gentle introduction to the area if you’re just getting your fins wet. It’s pretty shallow, topping out at 22m, which means plenty of bottom time to just cruise around and soak it all in. You'll often find white tip reef sharks circling the edges, and the top of the thila tends to be busy with schools of fusiliers and snappers. It’s a comfortable dive, well-suited for beginners or anyone looking for a relaxed afternoon underwater without battling strong currents.
