Muthafushi Thila - Baa Atoll

Muthafushi Thila is a solid pinnacle dive in Baa Atoll, nothing too extreme, but always delivering a good show. Dropping down to about 22 meters, we often find ourselves drifting with a gentle current, just enough to make the schooling bannerfish and fusiliers feel right at home. Keep an eye out for the resident moray eels peeking from crevices, and if you’re lucky, a passing grey reef shark might cruise by in the blue. It’s an intermediate dive, perfect for those comfortable with a bit of drift and looking for a classic Maldivian thila experience without the intense currents some other sites demand.
