Shark View Point in North Ari Atoll is a solid spot for an easy dive, especially if you’re new to Maldivian currents. The reef here tops out around 23 meters, making it comfortable for beginners to explore without feeling rushed. We often see white-tip reef sharks cruising along the sandy bottom, sometimes even a grey reef shark or two making a pass in the blue. Keep an eye out for schooling bannerfish and fusiliers, they often hang around the reef edge. It’s a good, relaxed dive to get you warmed up for the atoll’s more spirited drifts.
