With 95+ marine species recorded in the area - including blue sharks, sea turtles, spinner dolphins and whale sharks - Bodu Hithi / Kuda Thila offers some of North Malé Atoll's richest reef diving. Water ranges 29-31°C, warmest April, May, July.
Bodu Hithi, or Kuda Thila, as many divers call it, is a pleasant, gentle dive in North Malé. We've often taken newer divers here; the maximum depth of 23m makes it accessible, and currents are generally mild enough to drift along comfortably. You'll find yourself slowly circling a coral reef, keeping an eye out for whitetip reef sharks resting under ledges. It's a reliable spot for seeing common reef fish and the occasional turtle gliding past. If you're after a relaxed dive without strong currents, this is a solid choice.
