Huvafen Fushi/Float

North Malé Atoll, Maldives

Down in North Malé, Huvafen Fushi’s dive centre, Float, runs a PADI 5 Star operation. They stick mostly to the house reef and nearby thilas, which means easy access to spots with good chances of reef sharks cruising by, particularly along the deeper walls. We’ve found the guides here are good at spotting smaller stuff too, like ghost pipefish tucked into the gorgonian fans. It’s a solid choice if you’re staying on the island and want convenient, well-run dives without a lot of boat travel.
