With 95+ marine species recorded in the area - including blue sharks, sea turtles, spinner dolphins and whale sharks - Didi Gaa offers some of North Malé Atoll's richest pinnacle diving. Water ranges 29-31°C, warmest April, May, July.
Didi Gaa in North Malé Atoll is a drift dive with good potential for pelagics if the currents are right. We often encounter grey reef sharks patrolling the drop-off and schooling fusiliers further in. It’s a site that suits experienced divers comfortable with moving water, as the currents can pick up quickly. Visibility is generally good, allowing decent viewing of the reef structure.
