TGI Sangeli - North Malé Atoll
The team at TGI Sangeli know the North Malé Atoll like the back of their fins. This isn’t just another resort dive shop; it’s a well-oiled operation that we've found consistently delivers. We love their focus on getting divers out to those slightly less hammered sites, often meaning a smaller group and a more relaxed pace. If you're looking for professional, friendly guides who understand currents and can spot the tiniest nudibranch, these are your people. Our favourite dives with them often involve a drift along one of the atoll's outer reefs, feeling the push of the water as grey reef sharks cruise by, sometimes just a few metres away. On a good day, the water is so clear you feel like you're flying. We'd suggest asking them about early morning trips to some of the cleaning stations, especially in the channels – the light is incredible and the chances of seeing manta rays or eagle rays are high. They’re PADI 5-Star, so all the usual courses are on offer, but we think their real strength lies in guided diving for those who already have a few logbook stamps. They're excellent at tailoring dives to conditions, rather than just sticking to a rigid schedule.
