MSTS - Ocean Odyssey - North Malé Atoll
The team at MSTS - Ocean Odyssey feels like old friends by the end of a week, and that's exactly why we keep going back. They're based right in the thick of North Malé's action, but they manage to cut through the bustle with a really personal approach. We think they’re especially brilliant for divers who want to push their skills a bit, maybe get that Advanced Open Water, but still enjoy really relaxed, easy diving. They just make it all feel effortless. What we really appreciate is their knack for finding the sweet spots. We’ve been out with them when the currents have been ripping through Lankan Manta Point, and they’ve positioned us perfectly to just hang and watch those huge reef mantas come in for a clean. It’s that kind of local knowledge that makes the difference. We remember one calm morning, they took us to Banana Reef before the crowds arrived, and the schools of oriental sweetlips were so dense you could hardly see the coral. It was quiet, just the sound of our bubbles, and that bright blue water. They excel at showcasing the familiar sites in a way that feels fresh every time.
