Velassaru Maldives, a PADI 5 Star centre in North Malé Atoll, offers a solid base for exploring the atoll’s many sites. We’ve found their instructors to be patient, making it a good spot for newer divers looking to advance their PADI certifications. For those keen to see pelagics, the proximity to some of North Malé’s deeper channels means regular encounters with grey reef sharks and schooling eagle rays. It’s a convenient choice for resort guests wanting straightforward diving without much fuss.
