With 95+ marine species recorded in the area - including blue sharks, sea turtles, spinner dolphins and whale sharks - Lucky rock offers some of North Malé Atoll's richest reef diving. Water ranges 29-31°C, warmest April, May, July.
Lucky Rock is one of North Malé's smaller rocky outcrops, often dived when currents elsewhere are a bit much. Expect to see a good scattering of smaller reef fish around the coral blocks and a few sleepy nurse sharks tucked under ledges. It's a relaxed dive, good for beginners or those looking for an easy second tank. While not a pelagic hotspot, it’s a reliable spot for a calm exploration.
