With 95+ marine species recorded in the area - including blue sharks, sea turtles, spinner dolphins and whale sharks - Madi Gaa offers some of North Malé Atoll's richest diving. Water ranges 29-31°C, warmest April, May, July.
Madi Gaa, in North Malé Atoll, is a solid drift dive when the current is running. We often see reef sharks patrolling the channel here, along with schooling fusiliers and snapper. It’s a site best enjoyed by those comfortable with a bit of a ride, offering a good chance for pelagic encounters. Not one for macro enthusiasts, but great if you like to cover some ground.
