With 95+ marine species recorded in the area - including blue sharks, sea turtles, spinner dolphins and whale sharks - Yellow Reef offers some of North Malé Atoll's richest reef diving. Water ranges 29-31°C, warmest April, May, July.
Yellow Reef in North Malé Atoll offers a pleasant, relaxed drift dive along a sloping coral reef. It’s a good spot for spotting reef sharks patrolling the deeper sections and we often see turtles munching on corals in the shallows. Currents here are usually moderate, making it a comfortable dive for newer divers or those looking for an easy second tank. Expect a colourful, healthy reef with plenty of schooling fusiliers.
