With 148+ marine species recorded in the area - including blacktip reef sharks, sea turtles and whale sharks - Bodufinolhu Thila offers some of South Ari Atoll's richest pinnacle diving. Water ranges 29-31°C, warmest April, May, July.
Bodufinolhu Thila is a deep pinnacle in South Ari Atoll, best suited for experienced divers comfortable with potential currents. We usually find schools of fusiliers and snapper here, often with reef sharks patrolling the edges. Keep an eye out for grey reef sharks and the occasional eagle ray in the blue. It’s a good spot for a solid drift dive when conditions are right.
