With 148+ marine species recorded in the area - including blacktip reef sharks, sea turtles and whale sharks - Filitheyo East offers some of South Ari Atoll's richest diving. Water ranges 29-31°C, warmest April, May, July.
Filitheyo East is a gentle slope that bottoms out around 23 meters. It’s a good spot for newer divers to get comfortable in the water, offering a calm environment to practice buoyancy. Expect to see reef fish darting between the corals and maybe a turtle cruising by if you're lucky. It's a relaxed, easy dive for shaking off the travel rust.
