Filitheyo Outside - South Ari Atoll
Filitheyo Outside is a solid intermediate dive in South Ari, a good drift when the current is running parallel to the reef. We like to drop in near the corner and let the water carry us along the wall, keeping an eye out into the blue for passing reef sharks or schooling eagle rays. The reef itself drops to about 25 metres, and you’ll find plenty of nooks and crannies sheltering morays and a surprising number of sleeping nurse sharks if you look closely. It’s a good choice for divers who appreciate a relaxed pace with the chance of pelagic encounters.
