Rahdigaa Thila - South Ari Atoll
Rahdigaa Thila is a shallow one, topping out at just 5 to 7 metres, making it a good choice for longer bottom times and those who prefer less depth. We especially like the table coral plateau up top. Drop down a little and you'll find the thila's walls, cut with plenty of small caverns and overhangs. These surfaces are absolutely plastered with soft corals, sponges, and encrusting algae, a wild explosion of pink, orange, blue, and lilac. Keep an eye out for nudibranchs and flatworms adding even more splashes of bright colour to the scene. It’s a peaceful dive, perfect for photographers or anyone wanting a relaxed exploration.
