Seven Stingrays - South Ari Atoll
Seven Stingrays isn’t always about a fixed number, but you’ll typically find plenty of these graceful creatures gliding over the sandy bottom. We like to drift along at about 20-25 meters, letting the current carry us past sleeping white-tip reef sharks and occasional eagle rays. The reef itself is fairly gentle, a good spot for intermediate divers to practice their buoyancy while keeping an eye out for the resident whiprays and jenkins stingrays that give the place its name. It’s a reliable site for a pleasant drift, especially in the mornings before boat traffic picks up.
