With 148+ marine species recorded in the area - including blacktip reef sharks, sea turtles and whale sharks - String of Pearls offers some of South Ari Atoll's richest diving. Water ranges 29-31°C, warmest April, May, July.
String of Pearls in South Ari Atoll is a solid dive, particularly if you’re just getting comfortable in the water. It’s a gentle drift along a reef slope that bottoms out around 22 metres. We often see reef sharks cruising by and plenty of the usual suspects like snappers and fusiliers swirling around the coral bommies. Visibility here is generally quite good, making it a relaxing spot to just take it all in without having to fight a strong current.
