With 100+ marine species recorded in the area - including blue sharks, sea turtles, spinner dolphins and whale sharks - Boahura Express offers some of South Malé Atoll's richest drift diving. Water ranges 28-31°C, warmest April, May, July.
Boahura Express is a straightforward drift dive, ideal for those getting comfortable with going with the flow. We usually find ourselves cruising along a relatively gentle reef, watching the schools of fusiliers drift past. It’s not a deep dive, typically staying around the 20-25 metre mark, which makes it a good option for newer divers wanting to get a feel for Maldivian currents without too much drama. You'll likely spot a few reef sharks patrolling the deeper edge and plenty of colourful parrotfish grazing on the corals.
