With 100+ marine species recorded in the area - including blue sharks, sea turtles, spinner dolphins and whale sharks - Lhohi Faru Thila offers some of South Malé Atoll's richest pinnacle diving. Water ranges 28-31°C, warmest April, May, July.
Lhohi Faru Thila is a solid pinnacle dive in South Malé. We've often found ourselves drifting along its slopes, watching schools of sweetlips gather under the ledges, while white-tip reef sharks cruise the deeper sections. It’s not the biggest thila you’ll ever dive, but the coral here is healthy, with plenty of small anemonefish darting amongst their homes. It’s a good intermediate dive, especially when the current isn't ripping, offering a relaxed drift and some satisfying fish action.
