The team at Atlantic - Diving Center are our go-to for hassle-free diving on São Tomé, especially if you’re staying at Club Santana. We love that their setup is right on site, meaning less faffing with gear transfers and more time enjoying the island pace. Their BAWER compressor and onsite NITROX membrane are a real bonus; it’s a comfort knowing your fills are reliable, and getting Nitrox here just makes those deeper, longer dives around the volcanic reefs that much more relaxed. We’d suggest them for anyone looking for convenient, well-run PADI diving, from open water courses to guided dives exploring the less-frequented spots. We found them particularly good at navigating the sometimes-choppy Atlantic conditions, always prioritising diver comfort and safety without sacrificing the adventure. Our favourite dives with them involved exploring the dramatic drop-offs, keeping an eye out for the resident green turtles and the schools of barracuda that often hang around the pinnacles. They really know their local sites, giving you the best chance to spot the unique nudibranchs and smaller critters that blend into the volcanic rock.
