ZAIRE - São Tomé
The ZAIRE wreck, resting in just four metres of water, is a delightful shallow dive right off São Tomé. This isn't some deep, dark mystery; it's an accessible wreck, perfect for a long bottom time or even snorkelling. The hull is well broken up, forming a series of nooks and crannies that are home to schools of snapper and curious damselfish. You'll spend your time peering into shadowed corners, spotting juvenile puffers and the occasional moray eel peeking out. It's a great spot for newer divers, or anyone who enjoys a relaxed exploration of history now claimed by the reef.
