Booby Island - Inner Islands

Éden Beach Point on Klein Bonaire isn't about dramatic drop-offs or swim-throughs. It’s a slow-motion dive, a chance to really settle into that Caribbean pace. We love it for its quiet corners and the sheer amount of small, intricate life you can miss rushing by. The site is mostly a gentle slope down to about 21 metres, a mix of sand patches and scattered coral heads. It’s on the sand, especially, that you’ll find the good stuff. Keep an eye out for a Butterbun or that tiny Island Goby. We’ve spotted Banded Basslets darting around the coral, and sometimes, if you’re patient, a Spinythroat Scorpionfish perfectly camouflaged on a rocky patch. The visibility averages 21 metres, so you’ve got plenty of light to explore these details. It’s also a fantastic spot for spotting rays gliding over the sand. This is a dive for the meticulous, for those who prefer macro over pelagic, or for a relaxed drift into Front Porch or Harbour Village if the current is pushing gently north.
