BLUFF - Cape Town & Western Cape
The Bluff is a trawler wreck, sunk just off Miller’s Point in 1965. It sits shallow, only 5 metres deep, so it’s a good one for extended bottom times or for those newer to wreck diving. The 38-metre hull is still largely intact, offering plenty of nooks and crannies to peer into, though penetration isn’t really on the cards. We often spot shy octopuses tucked away, and the hull is usually covered in colourful anemones and nudibranchs. Visibility can be a bit variable here, but on a good day, the light plays nicely through the superstructure.
