Dyer Island sits off the coast, a short boat ride from Gansbaai. It’s known primarily for its shark activity, particularly great whites, making it a spot for cage diving. You'll typically encounter bronze whalers and sevengill sharks on the dives, along with various rays and often Cape fur seals. This site really suits divers keen on large animal encounters and those looking for a different kind of dive.
