With 269+ marine species recorded in the area - including blue sharks, blue whales, dolphins, dwarf minke whales and great white sharks - Ledges offers some of Cape Town & Western Cape's richest diving. Water ranges 14-16°C, warmest February, March, April.
Ledges sits just off the coast, a solid dive for when you’re in Cape Town. We typically hit depths around 15 to 30 meters, following the rocky outcrops and overhangs that define the place. It's a prime spot for spotting shy critters – think the usual suspects like slipper lobsters tucked into crevices and a good variety of temperate fish cruising by. If you appreciate a good wall dive with plenty of nooks and crannies to explore, Ledges definitely delivers.
