Moddergat - Cape Town & Western Cape
Moddergat offers a relaxed shore entry dive, ideal for calmer days. We often spot shy sevengill sharks patrolling the kelp forests here, along with playful seals weaving through the fronds. It’s a good spot for newer divers looking to get comfortable with temperate water diving and practice their buoyancy amongst the swaying kelp. Visibility can be a bit hit or miss, but on a good day, it’s wonderfully atmospheric.
