MV Gemsbok - Cape Town & Western Cape

The MV Gemsbok sits upright, a proper ghost ship on the seabed, and one of our favorite deeper Cape Town wrecks. Dropping onto the bridge at 18 meters, you can follow the superstructure down to the sand at 30 meters, the whole thing just begging to be explored. We usually find inquisitive octopus tucked into nooks and crannies, and there are always schools of hottentot and strepies darting through the holds. It's a solid dive for anyone comfortable with a bit of depth and keen to poke around a proper ship.
