The MV Winton, just off the coast near Cape Town, is a good pick for a wreck dive when you’re in the area. We usually find this wreck sitting upright, which always makes for a more interesting exploration. You can get into a few of the cargo holds, sometimes spotting octopus tucked away in a corner, or even a few shy catsharks in the deeper sections. It’s a solid dive for those who enjoy poking around a bit, and a great way to experience the Atlantic’s chillier, but often rewarding, wreck diving scene.
