Steenbras Deep is an advanced dive, often characterized by its cooler water and potential for surge. We’ve found the real draw here is the chance for encounters with the larger, less common species, particularly various sharks. Visibility can be hit or miss, but on a good day, it's a solid choice for experienced divers looking for something a bit more challenging than the typical Cape Town reef. It’s not a site for macro enthusiasts, but great for those keen on pelagic action.
