Coral Gardens, off the KwaZulu-Natal coast, offers a gentle introduction to the Indian Ocean's coral reefs. We found it a pleasant drift over low-lying hard corals, interspersed with anemones hosting clownfish and a scattering of smaller reef fish. It’s a good spot for newer divers or those looking for a relaxed dive, typically with mild currents. Visibility can vary, but on a good day, it's a calm, colourful dive.
