Shai, what we think might be a pilot boat, sits in just two metres of water, likely a casualty of Cyclone Domoina. It’s a site that proves not all wrecks need to be deep to be interesting. You’re mostly exploring the scattered remains of a small vessel, but it’s amazing how quickly even this shallow metal structure becomes home. Look for juvenile fish hiding in the nooks and crannies, and sometimes we’ve seen small rays resting in the sand nearby. It's a gentle explore, great for a safety stop or just a quick, easy dive when you're looking for something different from the main reefs.
