Coffin Ray Point, off Sri Lanka’s east coast, lives up to its name. We’ve spotted several electric rays here, often partially buried in the sand. It’s a generally calm dive, good for newer divers or those who enjoy slower exploration, particularly on the sandy patches near the reef edge where those rays like to hide. Keep an eye out for other bottom dwellers too, like flounder and maybe a passing cuttlefish.
