Navy Museum - Trincomalee & East Coast
The Navy Museum site in Trincomalee sits at a comfortable 19 metres, making it a good choice for newer divers getting their fins wet in the area. It’s not a wreck, despite the name, but rather a gentle reef with scattered rock formations. We’ve found plenty of reef fish here: parrotfish nibbling at the algae, curious batfish circling, and even a moray or two peeking from their holes. It’s a relaxed dive, usually with mild currents, perfect for a long, easy swim. Visibility can vary, but on a good day, you get a decent view of the modest but charming reef life.
