P(C)C3 - Trincomalee & East Coast
P(C)C3 is exactly what we picture when someone says 'wreck dive' – approachable, interesting, and bursting with life. This tug capsized back in ’76, helping a tanker out of port, and now she sits upright in a mere 11 metres. That shallow depth means bright, natural light penetrates right down, illuminating every corner. We love nosing around the wheelhouse, which is still quite intact, and the open engine room where you can peer inside without needing to squeeze. Shoals of snapper often swirl through the broken superstructure, and we’ve seen moray eels peeking from pipes, their heads swaying gently in the slight current. It's a superb dive for newer wreck enthusiasts or anyone looking for a relaxed exploration with plenty to see without deep decompression obligations. Keep an eye out for the resident batfish, they’re usually hanging around the stern.
